OKLAHOMA REAL ESTATE BROKER FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Oklahoma Real Estate Broker License Requirements
  • 18 years old.
  • Have good moral character.
  • Take 90 hours of pre-license education.
  • A sales associate license is the same as the provisional sales associate license, however, a sales associate need not take the Part II 45-clock hours of real estate courses. Instead, a sales associate must complete 12-clock hours of approved continuing education courses during the license term, which is a three-year period.
  • Broker applicant must have at least 2 years of active experience within the past five years, or its equivalent, as a provisional sales associate or sales associate, plus the 90 hour educational requirement.
  • Waiver is available for some of the broker experience requirement, but there is no waiver available for the educational requirement.
  • Pass the real estate exams.
