NEBRASKA REAL ESTATE BROKER FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Nebraska Real Estate Broker License Requirements
  • At least 19 years old.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 60 hours of pre-license education.
  • Salespersons must be under the direct supervision of a licensed broker.
  • If broker applicant does not have 2 active years of full time salesperson experience, or the part-time equivalent, then 180 hours of pre-licensing education is required.
  • Broker applicants who have 2 years of experience must take 120 hours of pre-licensing education.
  • All applicants must provide a current Criminal History Report, including 2 sets of fingerprint cards.
  • All applicants must provide proof of Errors and Omissions Insurance.
  • Pass Nebraska real estate licensing exam; Passing score of 75% is required.
